Base of Operations

Heston's Air Services Division is based in and operates from Jordan, with landing capabilities in Aqaba, Queen Ahila International, and Marqa Airports. The divisions offices are located in Marqa Airport, in close proximity to our operations allowing maximum coordination, communication and real time information to our client.

Fleet

Heston Air Services operate a fleet of aircraft that includes the Lockheed L-100-30 Hercules and Boeing 737-200 ADV. The crews of these aircraft are arguably the most capable crews available anywhere to operate this service. All crews are ex-military, and specially trained and experienced in areas of elevated risk, and have an impeccable and unblemished record of safety.
 
Heston is also closely associated with the Royal Jordanian Air Force, providing the capability to access most sectors within Iraq, and to a variety of equipment and other special services that are not provided to other commercial carriers.

The Boeing 737-200 ADV is an updated version of the 737 model and features 118-passenger seats, all in economy configuration.
 
The L-100-30 Hercules, the civilian version of the C-130 Hercules, is a proven workhorse around the world. It is capable of operating from short and/or damaged runways, and can operate in and out of unfinished landing strips. The average payload in full cargo configuration is 20-22 tonnes. The aircraft are also capable of transporting rolling vehicles of various sizes, due to its large 17-meter long cargo bay.

Routes and Destinations

Heston files to destinations in Iraq and throughout the region.
Destinations in Iraq reached to date include: Baghdad,Tikrit, Kirkuk, Basrah, Al Assad, Balad, Taji, Mosul and Irbal. Destinations in the region includes : Dubai, Muscat, Bahrain, Turkey, Sofia, Beirut, Jeddah, Kuwait, Cairo and Cyprus.
 
Heston is able to offer access to most regional airports. landing permission can be applied for in the majority of international airports as well as smaller and military bases, depending on the suitability of the clients aircraft requirement.

Importantly, Heston flies routes that include several shorter sectors, providing the capabilities to do "milk run" type trips, picking up and dropping off passengers and cargo to multiple destinations on a single trip.

Cargo Capabilities

Heston flies several types of cargo, supporting both
reconstruction and security efforts. Types of cargo include armoured and civilian vehicles, bulk and palletised cargo, hazardous materials, and military hardware, The Hercules fly with a full crew, and includes loadmasters and technicians, as well as emergency spares for a fly-away capability in case of mechanical problems out of station.
 
 The Hercules is capable of accommodating up to 23 tonnes, and can accommodate the dimensions of a standard 40 sea container within its cargo bay. Vehicles are drive-on, drive-off and require no specialised equipment or personnel for transportations.
