Corimec

Corimec is a leader in the design of mobile dwelling units. The versatility of the container allows it to satisfy each individual requirement and enables it to form complete dwelling complexes made up of, as a not comprehensive example, accommodations, kitchens, mess-halls, offices, meeting-rooms, laundries, recreation areas, ablutions, warehouses, and small workshops.

The unit is composed of a galvanised and pre-painted sheet steel framework.60 mm. thick panels have been chosen for walls, which are polyurethane foam insulated in order to obtain a high thermal insulation and to offer a good environment al comfort, considering the particular use of the unit itself. Wall panels are interchangeable so that provided doors and windows may be fitted in any perimetrical position. Modules may also be coupled to form larger and more equipped and even two-storied complexes. In order to make the container more functional, Corimec offers a wide range of options and accessories, such as corridors, stairs with landings, gangways, double saddle roof, which allow a better arrangement of modules.

The container may be for warded either erected or disassembled, “transpack”  type, to obtain a greater rationalisation of the transportation cost; in this case, it is reduced as a “sandwich”, madeup of base and roof, connected by suit able metallic spacers; wall panels, door and window frames and accessories for the installation on site are placed inside the “sandwich”.

Heston is the exclusive distributor of Corimec products for the post-Katrina effort, and have been strategic support partners on various International Projects, including Iraq, Romania and Bulgaria.
